Iron Pirate - Max Pemberton

I am featuring a book that I never read. I wanted to as a boy, but I had the strong impression that it wasn’t allowed. It sat on my sister’s bookshelf and I wasn’t bold enough to take those books. So I effectively censored it from myself. I certainly wouldn’t recommend Iron Pirate as it is dreadfully turgid, old-fashioned Boy’s Own drivel. But no book should be banned by prejudice or fear.
